Northern Liberties : Lil' Succulent Garden Workshop : Saturday, August 30th: 6:00-7:30 PM
Create your own lush little world of succulents!
Join us at STUMP NoLibs on Saturday, August 30th from 6:00-7:30pm for an evening of hands-on planting, design, and inspiration as shopkeeper Caty guides you through crafting a personalized mini succulent arrangement to take home. Whether you’re brand new to plants or a seasoned green thumb, you’ll leave with a beautiful creation and the confidence to help it thrive.
During the workshop, you’ll:
Explore a variety of succulent types and choose 3–5 plants that inspire you.
Learn how to pair plants for color, texture, and visual balance.
Get step-by-step instruction on planting in a 6” ceramic low bowl planter.
Learn expert tips on light, watering, and ongoing care.
Optional: Bring along cute miniatures to decorate your arrangement—think tiny animals, fairy garden pieces, colorful crystals, or other small treasures to make it uniquely yours.
We’ll provide all plants, materials, and tools—you just bring your creativity (and maybe your favorite drink!).

Caty Leader is a shopkeeper at STUMP Northern Liberties. She has worked with and cared for plants her entire life, growing up in Philly with a beautiful garden and a green thumb.
