Hello! My name is Cat Johnston-Floyd and I am a watercolor artist! I have been living and working in Savannah, Georgia since 2010. In my artwork I love to combine delicate linework with watercolor texture to create an ethereal, dreamlike feeling. I love creating art that celebrates life, and having the opportunity to capture sentimental experiences on paper. I specialize in fine art paintings and prints. My work can be found at multiple local shops in downtown Savannah, and I often set up at Pop Up Artisan Markets around Chatham County. Follow me on Instagram @johnstonillustration, to see where I’ll be next!

In taking old vintage flatware and transforming them into what I like to call "functional art pieces", my desire is to help people create a connection with timeless heirlooms that have been tucked away to collect dust or tossed by the wayside. By upcycling them into new pieces that can be used functionally among today's trends and interests, it sparks a connection not only in the way of transformation, but of honoring legacy; a way of showing the beauty in bridging what once was, to what currently is.

A licensed non-profit 501(c)(3) rescue organization, the mission of One Love Animal Rescue, Inc. is to help abandoned, neglected, abused, and unwanted pets by partnering with shelters, rescue groups, and the community to facilitate the adoption of these animals into permanent and loving homes.
Our goal is to save one life at a time by promoting local animal shelter adoptions and raising awareness in our community about responsible pet ownership. We strive to highlight the importance of spaying or neutering pets which will aid in the reduction of overpopulation. We believe that appropriate and positive reinforcement training and socialization of these shelter animals will lead to well-adjusted family pets, thereby decreasing the number of abandoned animals in shelters. Our dream is that one day all the shelters will be empty because every pet will have a home.

About the Artist: Art has always been my passion. For most of my life painting has been my go-to. Recently, I've found my love for ceramics again. Now I'm on a new journey here in Savannah, bringing my love for mountains, ocean, plants, and texture and turning those passions into detailed functional art in small batch, one of a kind ceramic collections. My hope is for everyone to find a piece of my art that speaks to them, and serves a purpose, be that just sparking joy or its functionality.

From the Author:
I am absolutely thrilled to share my first children’s book Kate the Earthling! This story was inspired by my own childhood and is incredibly special to me. My hope for this book is to instill our connection with nature early in the lives of the youngest Earthlings. The future of this planet and all who share it lies with them.
Kate the Earthling was written for ages 4-8, but the story will be enjoyed by Earthlings of all ages! The incredible illustrations were done by the talented Winona Kieslich.

“Framework” captures the idea of each piece being carefully framed, with attention to linear composition and detail. Although the artists explore different landscapes, their works share a cohesive feeling and visual language. Joe’s images of vintage cars do more than document the vehicles—they capture a moment in time, reflecting the life and memories associated with each car while highlighting their beauty. Thomson’s photographs rethink the concept of an island, capturing objects, structures, and vessels at sea, creating a balanced and unified composition.
Each photograph is uniquely framed in handmade wood frames, crafted with splined joints and finished with a homemade shellac, further emphasizing the individual attention to detail in both the frame and the image it holds.

MEET THE MAKER:
Wind & Waves Soaps is a Philadelphia-based artisanal soap company. In 2014, after years of experiencing the uplifting and positive effects of using natural soaps, founder Staci Lynn embarked on a soap-making journey. She soon discovered that soap-making was an engaging process that envelops the senses, and blends science, art, and self-care into one bubbly, tactile, scent-drenched bar! She believes that the essence of handmade soaps is through their functionality, beauty, and cleansing purpose for all.
The name Wind & Waves Soaps was inspired by the sea and surf, for its renewing effects on the mind, body, and spirit. Since 2018, Wind & Waves Soaps has evolved into a small business, inspired by both the tradition and evolving nature of soapmaking and provides unique handmade soaps for shops, craft markets, and special events.

Isabella Velatruna is an Asian-American artist who currently studies industrial and kinetic design while attending the Savannah College of Art and Design. Velatruna has made appearances nationally and internationally, including Brazil, New York City, and the 2025 CICA Museum in South Korea. Velatruna is recognized for her conceptual paintings and sculptures, and has been said to hold a niche dedication to bizarre art materials. Recent works emphasize what an artist sacrifices for their work, rather than the final product. Velatruna uses taxidermy and hauntingly beautiful pieces to display the pulchritude found in an artist’s process.

WITH FIELD DAY HERBALS!
Come shop from a local + woman-owned herbal brand with an array of tea, soaks, tinctures + more!
MEET THE MAKER:
“Hi, I'm Kate! Founder of Field Day Herbals.
I first discovered the healing properties of CBD (and other botanicals) after a life-altering traumatic brain injury (TBI) in 2019.
While desperately searching for natural solutions to alleviate my TBI symptoms and learning to cope with my "new normal", I was lucky to pass time farming hemp, produce, and herbs at our family owned and operated farm, Estell Farms. This opportunity only deepened my appreciation for plant-based medicine and ultimately inspired the birth of Field Day Herbals in 2023.
Enter Field Day Herbals, my way of turning something painful into something good. I invite anyone reading to join me in this little journey where modern living meets timeless well-being. I hope that through our story and Field Day Herbal offerings, we can offer you a pause and a new ritual, as well as a celebration of joy, relief and revitalization.”

I’m a poet, artist, & architect in Savannah. I call myself gay poet beau since I spent the first 22 years of my life dimming my light—afraid of who I was & who I could become.
Now I unapologetically claim & celebrate this queerer part of me. Creating poetry & art helped me explore my feelings & eventually find the courage to embrace my truth.
My poetry & art explore themes of connection to nature, budding self acceptance, embracing authentic identity, & documenting queer struggles & joy.
Each artwork is inspired by a poem I wrote & watercolored to connect with the theme/heart of each writing.
The interwovenness of queerness & nature resonates deeply with my own journey toward self-discovery & eventual acceptance of my gay identity. Through creating poetry & art grounded in natural settings & metaphors, I gained the courage to embrace my truth. My series of watercolor prints & poems illustrates my journey as a closeted kid growing up in the south who blossoms into a proudly out gay man living life in its fullest spectrum.
Expanding on my inspiration from & connectedness to nature, I created a series of watercolor prints & poems that capture the ethereal beauty of southern flowers & the picturesque parks of Savannah.

She felt there was a need for this. A need that would create inclusivity. Thus, Dirty Gertie’s began! The name is an ode to her foul-mouthed old lady alter ego 😉 Kelly enjoys creating her own simple syrups, growing her own herbs and you can find her popping up at events all around Philly as well as private events.
