Words from Kelly, owner of Dirty Gertie’s: “I've been sober for 11 years and the more I talked to other folks, I found people were moderating their drinking or cutting it out completely for other reasons than my own. I felt there was a need for this. A need that will create inclusivity. Once I thought of a name - an ode to my foul mouth, old lady alter ego I took off running with my ideas. Coming up with drink ideas has become a creative outlet for me whether it be making my own simple syrups to (trying to) or growing my own herbs. You can find me doing pop-ups around Philly as well as private events big and small. Oh! And I also make banana pudding!”
